At first glance, you might be caught believing that a pamper party is like a baby shower but with nappies. I made that mistake myself. I was quite embarrassed and got a good ribbing about it for a good hour afterwards from my friends. I had images of a ring of mothers with their babies wearing pampers nappies.But what really happens at a Pamper Party? A pamper party is a party where you will be getting pampered by a team of specialist beauticians. Once the 'guests' have picked their beauty treatments, the beauticians will get on with it. They're a great idea for a hen party (although not exclusively for pre-wedding celebrations as it's a great idea for young womens' birthday party gifts) where a bunch of girls can just sit back, chill out and have a great time. Pamper parties can be as big or small as you like. It's entirely up to you who you want present as it's all about having a great time with friends.
I actually arrange for pampershoots which involves a series of professional photographs taken and a professional makeup artist is on hand to give the guests a makeover. Great fun and a great bonding activity!
